Lot's of good questions.......and lot's of politically correct answers. To be expected of course. But reading between the lines, you get the feeling that Ed wants to see what Ron can do with this team. And soon. D corps HAS to be upgraded a bit.

Love when he said "Got To Be Here".

Enough with the former flyers as gm, as a wise man once said: doing the same thing over and over expecting different results is insanity.

Not to read into it too much but snides certainly sounds like he wants ghost here next season. I would expect them to make him play at least one season in AHL, but it's the flyers they never do the expected.

If I had a dollar for every time that changes will occur during the summer, I would be a millionaire. Let's recycle every player, and every coach. I enjoy seeing everyone all over again as one big happy family. It seems like we correct one problem during the off season, and then create another problem. Chief actually did a good job with what he had, and coached most of the time to the team's strengths. However, as usual, there was little patience for keeping a line together. So, have we found a goalie? Have we found a forward? Have we found a couple of D-men? Nothing like a long term contract for a 3/4 line guy. We may have to endure a few losing seasons in order to build a solid farm team, and let them grow into the big leagues. With the stupid salary demands, it just makes sense to build, and rebuild when the players require more money. Sure you can pay a few guys some money, but you can't build a team by paying everyone big bucks. Let's hurry up, and invest in a little in youth before Mace's window closes.
